VW brand name sales increase 17% in Feb operated by U.S., Chinese suppliers demand


Vw said global revenue of its primary VW company increased 17.7 % to 399,700 systems in Feb, powered by revenue in the U. s. Declares, Italy and Chinese suppliers.

Sales for the company increased 8 % to a record of 818,800 automobiles in Jan and Feb mixed.

"Despite a difficult environment in several markets, the VW company saw an excellent development in the first two several weeks," VW revenue primary Christian Klingler told correspondents at the Geneva auto show on Wednesday.

In Chinese suppliers, VW's biggest single industry, the company sold 300,300 automobiles in the first two several weeks, a rise of 9.5 % over the year before.Sales in western European countries dropped 4.7 % to 131,000 systems in the same period as continuous problems with the sovereign debt turmoil in the region continue to hole consumer confidence.In central and southern European countries, VW-branded revenue leaped amazingly 63.6 % to 35,800 systems.In Malaysia, revenue were flat, losing 1.1 % to 85,000 compared with the first two several weeks of 2011.

In the U. s. Declares, revenue increased 45 % to 57,800 in Jan and Feb, increased in part by local production of the new Passat automobile.Emerging-market revenue grew even larger strong with revenue in Italy more than increasing by 112.5 % to 20,700 automobiles.
